They say you get what you pay for, and this place is no exception. My first order and what happens? They don't bother to tell me when the delivery is going to take place! Having not had an order confirmation email or follow up after nearly 2 days, I contacted the Tamworth store. To be fair, the customer service on the phone was much better, though they didn't explain why i hadn't been contacted. Apparently they sent an email the day before, telling me the delivery was the next day (as in the day on which I phoned them). I received no such email (and yes, i checked my trash and spam etc. They couldn't even give me an indication of when the delivery would be; only that it was the very last one of the day, because apparently, they had no way of reaching the driver. Guess what? About 3 hours after the call to the Tamworth branch, a random O2 no. calls me to tell me he's at my house. Luckily I managed to get my brother there at short notice but it made me wonder why the communication was so poor when they had both my email address and my mobile phone number. Frankly, I think I'll just pay the extra and either self collect, or go elsewhere.
Poor customer service. Ordered copper pipes. Firstly 60% of the order turned up bent, some pieces even at 45 degrees. Clearly no one would use that so why waste peoples time picking it and delivering it? Arranged to have replacement delivered on Saturday. Saturday came, no calls, office phone line closed and no delivery. Monday while at work I got a call saying 'I'm outside your house' with no prior arrangement. Turns out the person I had arranged the redelivery with at the branch had known they wouldn't have been able to deliver it on Saturday but didn't bother ringing me to let me know so wasted my day staying in. I had to arrange to go to the address during work hours to let them in. On arrival, one part was incorrectly picked and so had to send that back too. On contacting them and willing to give them another chance by placing a further order, they didn't seem very bothered, and when asked for a goodwill gesture on my new order all they offered was free delivery (which you can get through the website with a code anyway). If you can't treat customers with respect, they will go elsewhere. Very disappointing.
I dont have a mobile so I cannot order so they have lost a sale.
Rang depot to query a time slot but was told I missed delivery. Person was in building all day and never received a knock at the door. Was also told I had a missed call which is rubbish as my phone has not rang. Then I logged into my account to find that the order does not appear. After a call with Tracy at internet services getting no where on the matter she advised me I will have to wait another week for delivery and pay another delivery charge. I think this is terrible so I asked to cancel to which I have been informed I will incur another delivery charge. Please do not buy from this company you can get slightly better prices from alternative companies. I believe you may need to Review your current IT Systems as it turns out after being told numerous times that the delivery was missed and that I would be charged extra. The boiler had in fact been delivered to a neighbor. If the depot had not misinformed me then this wouldn't have gone this far. Also this still has not fixed the IT issues with my order not appearing on my account?
Excellent service and great prices. Use them for my boilers and rads. Recommended.
