I called this company out as they are listed as being local to my area, to fix a cistern that was overfilling and constantly water going through the overflow pipe. Needed the job doing quickly as on a water meter. The job was done and the valve replaced. The guy went out to get the new valve which was acceptable. However he was gone for a long time which took the time into a second hour.. There is a local supply merchants, so don't understand why took so long. Absolutely aghast at the invoice and the price of the parts which can't possibly have cost so much.. The flush mechanism does need replacing but now I can't afford it.
