Terrible company. I’ve put a complaint in about the boiler leaking over 4 weeks ago and they’ve only just got back to me. I had them service and repair the boiler near the end of January and it’s already leaking. I have tenants which is unfair to them. Avoid at all costs. Since complaining they have become very defensive and are acting with a “it’s not us that damaged the boiler must be someone else” They even left the boiler flue cover off. I’ve had another plumber come from far that’s a friend and he’s given me a list of the issues that are still wrong with the boiler. I’m going elsewhere as this has become a complete joke.

Only interested in making money. Not remotely interested in providing a service.

Heating has completely gone from my property during this horrible week of "the beast from the East" weather. I called John Cullen and sons and asked for a John to come and have a look at our radiators and was met with an extremely rude receptionist on the phone who responded with "well there isn't a John here." Well if you have a business named after a person, it is an easy mistake that customer will assume a John works there. I explained the situation that there is absolutely no heating in the house and the lady didn't seem to believe me. The lady said there was a possibility for an engineer to come out on the day but I had to suggest a time slot (which was strange because surely they would tell me of a slot and I would arrange my day around that). I suggested a few time slots to which the lady kept responding with simple "no's" not even trying to offer any suggestions. I felt like I was on a poor gameshow in which I was trying to guess a time slot. So that day was out of the picture. I then suggested other time slots such as Wednesday morning (nope), Wednesday afternoon (nope), Tuesday morning (nope), Tuesday afternoon (nope) I asked what time are any of the engineers available and I can work my day around that time slot to which the receptionist rudely responded with "as I have explained before, you need to tell me of a time slot." So then I gave up. I understand during this type of weather that gas and plumbing engineers will be extremely busy however there is no need for the unhelpful rude behaviour on the phone. John Cullen was recommended to me by a close friend so was extremely hopeful that they would have been able to assist me in my dire situation but have been extremely disappointed by the terrible customer service.
