Prices are on the high end. Offered to give him more business but he was not willing to travel to greater Birmingham area. Just did not seem as interested to help as much as others.
He charged me over $400 to replace the stems in my bathtub and then mentioned that it would be even more to replace the valves. There is no way it should cost over $400 to replace stems. If anything it should cost maybe a little more than this to replace the faucet valve since it is accessible through a closet. I'll never hire anyone on craigslist ever again.
He came out to check a faucet that didn't have water. He could not figure out why it wasn't working. He took out my faucet and left the pipe open which shut down all my water to my garden. He ended up leaving without putting the faucet back on, or capping the pipe which gave me no solution to my problem and then charged me $265. He refused to cap it because he said "it wouldn't do me any good becasue there wasn't enough water pressure." I had no choice but to call ANOTHER plumber who incidentally said I had plenty of pressure...and he's installing the faucet David Sanders Plumbing left lying on the ground in my garden...
