First time using Clarke's gas services...Chap came out next day for me and sorted my boiler for me at a competitive price for a Saturday. No more dancing in the shower trying to avoid hot water failure. Perfect service. Thank you.

Fast, efficient service from Andy today. Got to my van and couldn't light the hot water boiler. He came straight over, which I appreciate can't always be the case, to sort it and helped by lighting the heating for me whilst he was here too. Extremely grateful for the prompt and helpful service. Thank you!

We've had this company do work for us 3 or 4 times. Always prompt, efficient, good service at a reasonable price. Happy to recommend them.

We came back from holiday to find our boiler was not working. We contacted Clarke's and he came out that evening and located the problem. We asked them to order the part and he came out at the weekend to install it. The service and how quick they came out was excellent, I would highly recommend Clarke's Gas Services.

I came across this when alerted by my apprentice that this had been posted about my Company, At my request Mr Clark visited my 91 year old Mother in Alford to inspect a gas fire which would not work. He ordered a part which took ages to arrive. The part was fitted and a charge of £70 made. The fire still would not work and my Mother told not to try and use it in case it was dangerous. She was advised that she needed a new fire and a catalogue of new fires left with her, none of the models in the catalogue were suitable. We never heard from Clark's again and have ordered a new fire from another supplier. Very disappointed. I remember this job, as it is very close to where my partner work's, I attended the address the gas fire's Safety Valve had operated, Canon Manor Gas Fire. I believe a company had been called in before us that could not find the fault, we advised the seal had perished around the safety discharge and would order one, this was ordered and unfortunately did not come into stock for 3 weeks, as the central heating was working fine we did not see this as an issue when ordering. The first visit was1 hour, we then attended after the part arrived re-fitted seal reset safety valve and checked appliance with a room CO check, whereas the Carbon Monoxide readings were more than the acceptable amount and safety valve was lifting towards shutting off again, This consisted of another 1 hours labour, I then tried to contact Canon for further assistance as it was there appliance, on 0845 no. from a mobile, to have call cut off 3 times after 20 minute wait totalling another 1 hour on site, with this occurring I assumed the appliances catalytic converter was blocked or had failed, due to the age 10Yrs + of the appliance and lack of technical help from canon, We Isolated the Gas Supply raised a warning notice and we advised it may be time to replace it, We arranged to meet the person in question in the morning and unfortunately were delayed whereas they had gone out, so we dropped a catalogue through the door expecting a call which, never came. We also advised that it may be worth attending a local gas fire showroom no names given as they would be able to see fires rather than a picture in a book. Which we know that this shop/showroom fitted the person in question a new gas fire as my partner had seen them at the address. So in total there was 3 hours labour and £20 of parts and we charged £70 one hours labour and the parts which is more than reasonable, had the repair been a success, I would have been interested to see if this person had been singing our praises.
