Further to your reply to the comment below , I would say you are wrong because when the leak first occurred a plumber came out, took the macerator out, cleaned it, said it was in good working order. Also why would your plumber come out, tell me he had to order a specific part, explain what that part did and then I am told the part has arrived and plumber coming . Why did you not tell us he was not coming and why order the part? What have you done with it? I cannot understand why you sitting in an office, never having seen the toilet can say after the part has arrived that it was misdiagnosed and it is the macerator. My builders heard your plumber say he was going to order this special part. Also your plumber has left the toilet with a big open pipe. He has not left it as he found it and if another plumber has to order the part we will be looking to you for compensation. You left me 10 days to wait for a part and then say it was misdiagnosed. Nightmare with them. Saga's insurance asked them to come for a leak. Plumber came and said it needed a specific part which would have to be ordered. After 3 days I rang to see if part in. Eventually on Friday Aug 3 rd told it would be in on Tuesday (8 days after he originally came) and engineer booked to come out then. Rang on Monday and they said the same. Rang to check on Tuesday morning and yes the plumber would be out with the part that morning. No-one came all day. When Insurance company rang them to ask why they didn't come they said engineer 's manager had misdiagnosed it and it was the macerator. Told a plumber had previously been out taken macerator out , cleaned it and working fine and also Metro plumb's plumber when he came said it was this part and he had ordered it. How then can someone in the office diagnose the problem by remote control? The insurance have told us to find our own plumber now. I could never recommend Metro Plumb.
I got a call back from the Metroplumb team at 7am following a call to my insurance company the previous night. Very grateful they got in touch so quickly. Adam came out first thing and he did a great job. Super professional and reassuring. Managed to find the issue very quickly and stop the leaks despite being difficult to access them!
After a sudden leak in the plumbing above the kitchen ceiling our insurance company called Metro Plumb South London to sort the problem. Adam arrived promptly and resolved the problem quickly. He took great care to minimise the damage to the ceiling needed to access the burst plumbing. Absolutely faultless service, I would wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone with a plumbing emergency. Speedy, effective, efficient and polite service. Thank you Adam and Metro Plumb South London.
Josh Crofts from Metro Plumb turned out at 11pm on a freezing winter's night (January 31) to deal with a burst pipe on the roof of our block of flats, which was in danger of causing serious flooding. His attitude was utterly professional and reassuring, especially as we were all a bit anxious. Josh rapidly assessed what needed to be done and came back the next day to finish the repair and ensure everyone at The Woodlands, Beulah Hill, had their water supply restored. Very effective and professional - well done, Josh!
