Liam has done a few jobs for me recently. He replaced my aged central heating system in November. When they started work they found the system was so old that all the pipework needed to be replaced as well as the radiators, but they rescheduled straight away and the work was eventually completed quickly and efficiently. Although it was a massive upheaval to live through, the installation was finished on time and they left everything neat and tidy, I'm now a huge fan of the plastic film they use to protect the floors as it cleans the carpet as well when they take it up! In April I had my bathroom completely refitted, which included moving all the fittings around. Everything was really straight forward and the end result is amazing, I was especially pleased with the tiler Liam used who did a fantastic job. Jamie did all the joinery, which he does to a very high standard. The last job he did for me was WC in the utility room, again everything was done to a high standard. I would definitely recommend LJ Plumbing to anyone, in fact I already have.
Liam has done a few jobs for us over the last couple of years and services our boiler every year ... very reasonable rates and very efficient service. Would highly recommend to anyone
After having a bathroom refit there were quite a few things which required a subsequent visit: a nick in a panel, which had to be replaced (after I had found the part number myself); a badly-trimmed edge (which a joiner friend managed to tidy up); the vanity unit panels were not lined up properly; the toilet seat slipped; a glass shower screen had lots of silicone marks. After several unanswered texts and phone calls, they finally responded to an email containing a review I said I would post. The jobs have nearly all been done, but I have given up waiting for the final return visit, which was promised over six months ago. I am not going to keep jogging their memory all over again. This is to remove excess silicone which is meant to seal a corner where two tiled walls meet. The silicone corner grout is actually 4 cms over the tiles in places, which spoils the beautiful job a tiler had done. I am sorry to have to submit this post: the actual plumbing work has been trouble-free, but the finishing was disappointing, made much worse by communication difficulties. UPDATE 25.08.19 Thanks for the answer, Liam. The units I ordered were from Wickes. When you eventually came back to sort out the badly-aligned doors and loose toilet seat, the problems were solved, so putting the faults down to quality does not make sense to me. My joiner and a Wickes rep both said that trimming the white sink surround should not have left such an unsightly cut mark. Re the silicone: you yourself said you would come and sort it out, but never got back to me. Why is this "insisting"? Beats me.
Liam came to my rescue when my kitchen got flooded on the day I was due to exchange on the sale of my house, inspite of being busy with other jobs he squeezed me in and sorted the problem quickly and efficiently and at a very reasonable cost too, couldn't have been more pleased with his service strongly recommend and will be happy to use his services again????
Used Liam for 6 years now, always helpful, I won't go no where else
