I want to say a big big thank you to you for putting your post about frozen pipes on facebook. I live in Guernsey and my plumber didn't give me any advice on what to do. If I hadn't seen your post I would have had to wait until I could get a plumber in. What a wonderful and caring thing to do. Many thanks ????????????
These guys are amazing. After being messed around by various 'local' plumbers, these guys immediately visited the property, got the information they needed, ordered the part number (without any markup in price) and fitted it as soon as the part arrived. They have a decent hourly rate too. Highly recommended.
I can highly recommend the advice given to me by A S Plumbing concerning freezing of my outside pipe. Obviously overrun with so many people contacting them they put advice on Facebook to help people who were experiencing problems. I took their advice and my problem was solved. In future should I need to call a plumber out I would not hesitate to use them. For a company to put free advice up I think is incredibly thoughtful especially during a period where the country was covered in snow and they must have been so busy. Thank you AS Plumbing & Gas
During the recent freeze our boiler broke down leading to no heating or hot water. I tried telephoning British Gas as we have home care with them. I couldn't get through I assume because of the amount of people trying to contact them. Even in the evening when I got through to the automated answer machine it just cut out! I tried the website which again was no help! My daughter told me about a post she had seen on Facebook and said she had linked me to it. It was the post from A S Plumbing & Gas Ltd. This post explained what could be the cause of our boiler breakdown and gave clear and simple remedies to use. My son, who had just arrived with some electric heaters for us, followed these instructions and within a couple of minutes we once again had heating and hot water. I cannot thank this company enough for having the initiative to use Facebook to post this information not for any monetary gain but just to help those who were in difficulty. This company does not work in my area - South Wales - but if they did they would be my go to plumbers. I would recommend anyone in the area they cover to go to this company first. Thank you once again.
I am so very grateful to you for your helpful post on Facebook. My boiler stopped working during the snow & freezing conditions & it wouldn't reset. So I simply followed your instructions and Yay!
