Tankless Done Right (A Division of Scott Harrison Plumbing) This company is a complete rip-off, and will not think twice about cleaning you out. They will charge you a large "diagnosis fee", and then proceed to run up a bill of absurd, undocumented, unsubstantiated charges and try to upsell you more than you need. They will not waive the diagnosis fee if you decide to have the work performed by them. My 5 1/2 year old tankless water heater started to leak from the heat exchanger (it was obvious what the issue was). Luckily, replacement parts were fully covered by the manufacturer. And according the to the manufacturer, the replacement of the damaged parts should not take more than 3 hours for a 'factory certified serviceman'. When scheduling the appointment, I made it clear what the issue was, and that it was covered under manufacturers warranty. Tankless Done Right (A Division of Scott Harrison Plumbing) informed me that even though parts were covered, labor is not. Fair enough. Upon arrival, Jaymes still charged a $175 diagnostic fee, even though the problem was already 'diagnosed'. I was then showed an estimate for the replacement of the covered parts that was $1600 OR I could pay over $4000+ for a new unit. (This was only a 5 1/2 year old unit that I paid Tankless Done Right over $2200 to install) I asked why I would be charged so much money to replace parts that are 100% covered under warranty, and an estimated 3 hours. I was not given a clear answer what the charges were for. I guess their labor rate is $550/hour?? Jaymes was decent to offer to pick up the no charge, covered parts from the local warehouse so the repair could happen same day, however he wanted to charge me an extra $200 for his 'time'. 1 1/2 hour round-trip, he claims the hourly rate is $130. OK, so if that is the hourly rate, then why would the quote to repair my tankless not be $130x3 hours? Instead he said the 'job' is priced at $1600...regardless of the time it takes, but could not substantiate the what the cost was for. What a joke. If that is not a SCAM, then I don't know what is. I proceeded to call their office to get a better explanation as to what the charges were for, and they spat back the baseless explanation that it is for their 'overhead, 'their trained technicians', 'the hours and hours of training the servicemen' need to properly repair or install heaters. They still didn't breakdown how they pulled that cost estimate out of thin air. I was upset, and felt they were trying to take advantage of me, since I needed to have my system repaired. The office told me Scott Harrison PERSONALLY would call me back to discuss this...I'm still waiting for that phone call. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY calling this company. Do you get what you paid for? I don't think so. Even though I was happy with the initial install 5 1/2 years ago, they should have provided better service and pricing for a customer. I got the unit repaired by another "FACTORY CERTIFIED" professional for a FRACTION of the cost. BUYER BEWARE.

Way over priced ! These guys are quick to quote you an outrageous price without even looking at the problem. Then when the issue wasn’t a quick fix an additional outrageous estimate was thrown at me. I can only imagine how many people these guys have scammed....

I have had the occasion to call and use Scott Harrison Plumbing several times. Each time Alvin has worked with me and has been very fair, proficient, and courteous. I cannot stress enough Alvin's professionalism and helpfulness. I highly recommend him for your plumbing needs.

This company was great to work with to help fix what is needed in the apartment units. Specially Alvin and Javier. They are a great help on site where they explained everything that needed to be done. Javier did a great job finding the issue and fixing it. Enjoyed the experience working with Alvin and Javier as they helped relieved some of the stress knowing they can be trusted to finish the job. Thank you for a great job!!
