Precision Plumbing

Charged twice the amount estimated for gas fitting work, which we paid without question. Then sent an incredibly abusive email to us when we questioned a second account relating to a different issue (which they had misdiagnosed) costing us more money.

"I was billed $95 plus GST for hours worked plus an hour added to time worked to cover travel. On one day of the job, 2 plumbers came, one worked for 6 hours and I was billed 8.5 hours for him. The other worked 4 hours and I was billed 5 hours (one hour for travel). When I queried the difference of 2.5 hours on the young plumber the manager, David Mortimore's, reply was (and this is copied from his email with employee names removed) - "Hi As far as the labour goes on the 11th If J.... has to get gear from the merchants on his way there and or on his way home then he has charged his whole day to your job So his time off site at either end is charged same for L.... And largely the travel time each day makes up the difference I dont know how else we can do it from our end I have to pay a guy to drive a van to get material and get to site - the traffic can be challenging ?" Apart from the issue with overcharging, the work of one plumber was good (an older man) and the work of the young plumber was not good.

Completely useless. I had an appointment made nice and early as I had to take time off work for them, they turned up 6 days early when I wasn't there, then told me they couldn't turn up on the appointment, said they could some time that week as I had the whole week off work. Waited the whole week for them cancelling other things, still no plumber. And now he has the balls to tell me he will invoice me for turning up on the wrong day. Would give them negative stars if possible.

Fantastic response to a Sewer Pipe Breaking. This is the third time I have used Jarrod and Dave, and I have found the Service fantastic. Very professional and sorted out everything quickly. Cleaned up and made the problem disappear. Can't recommend them enough.

Has ripped me off. Overcharged. No integrity. Better to take a written quote, and be careful, to include A to Z in the quotation. Do not rely on what’s said over phone. Get everything in written quote. Will tell one thing and charge for doing nothing. Will never go to him again. Do not, at all recommend to others. Bullshitting boss. If my review is removed will go to customer protection.
