Deplorable. I moved into my new house a few years ago and needed a reliable plumber. I asked around on Facebook and was given Vision Plumbing's details, they weren't recommended because they were any good, only because a mutual friend knew James. I used them for a couple of small jobs early on and on both occasions the communication was poor, they were late and impolite. However, they did carry out the jobs on each occasion and I suppose I was 'content'. Then I made a huge mistake, I asked them to assist again for another relatively small job. I don't know why I didn't find another plumber, I guess I was 'content' from the first couple of times. James visited (later than promised) to assess what needed to be done and only visited after I called him several times, he said that they could do the job "cash in hand" and I agreed. We both diarised it for two week’ time on either the Monday or the Tuesday, he would advise. I really wanted this job done quickly but realised that we were nearing Christmas and decided that I could wait a few weeks until they could perform the job. On the Monday morning that James had promised to do this job, I suddenly felt that strange feeling in the pit of my stomach that my job was not going to be done. I had not received any form of correspondence to confirm. So I called and left a message early Monday morning, I didn't receive a response so I called again around 6pm that evening and left another message and sent a polite SMS asking why I hadn't heard from him. Still no response! The next morning, I called early again. This time, he picked up! He said that they would visit in the afternoon (Tuesday) but couldn't even give me a ballpark time. I accepted that knowing that at least the job would be carried out in the afternoon. I arranged for my wife to leave her casual job and withdraw the "cash in hand" money needed to pay James. He didn't show up. He didn't call to explain why he wasn't visiting...nothing! Consequently, my wife was not paid for that afternoon's shift. I tried to call again that evening but of course there was no answer. I sent an SMS on the Wednesday morning to give him one last opportunity to 'man up' and explain why he hadn't contacted me or at least why he hadn't shown....surprisingly...no response. Of course, I'll now be using another plumber and I will actively inform as many people as possible within our small community of the broken promises, the poor communication and the complete lack of professionalism. Really, really disgraceful experience. I implore you all not to use this company and especially do not deal with James. Disgusted.
