Fantastic service! I contacted Michael after-hours and rather than bill me, he patiently talked me through a trouble shooting exercise for my issue. When it was identified that I required trade qualified assistance, he attended promptly and diagnosed my issue (which was an electrical fault, not plumbing). I was not billed for the time or effort he put into my problem and I would have no hesitation in recommending Silva. Excellent customer service!

I called Michael on Saturday as my dishwasher would not drain. I'd tried troubleshooting by removing the filter, checking the release valve etc and over the phone Michael gave me specific instructions on how to unscrew the drain pipe from the s-bend to see if there was a blockage there. With his help over the phone I was able to fix my dishwasher issue without even calling him out to the house. That is service! Nice to see Michael is more interested in building relationships with future clients vs charging for something that we can easily fix ourselves in 5 minutes, thanks Michael.

The plumber did not show up. I booked Michael to replace the isolation valve in my apartment. I had to organise a water outage for over 100 apartments for this work to take place in addition to taking time off work. On the day no one showed up. I tried calling, left voice messages and sent emails. They never responded to any of them. I held off from writing this review in the hopes that someone would contact me to apologies and explain but sadly I have not heard back. Edit: Thanks for the response Michael. I understand unexpected things happen in life and forgive people for it. What I don't get is that you missed Rebecca's appointment on 26 July and then mine a full 6 days later on 1 August. I haven't had my appendix out but I'm pretty sure the surgery doesn't go for 6 days straight. A text message cancelling the appointment is all I needed.

My husband booked for someone to come out and do some work at 9.30am Friday 26th of July. They didn't show up. They didn't call. They didn't pick up or return my calls. I emailed them to give them a chance to explain or redeem themselves before writing this review and still have not heard back. I would give them zero stars if it would let me. Took the mornibg off work for nothing :-(

I am very pleased with the Michael approach in fixing the blocked drain problem. In the first place, A plumber did the jetting and charged me $600.00 without resolving the issue. Instead reported to investigate further, He needs to dig the ground about 1 metre length and 350cm deep. The quote is $6000. Then I approached Michael who demonstrated with professionalism and perfection. Within an hour, he anticipated the problem and guided me with the options. He was very patience and explaining me with the options and recommending the best option with less cost effective. I have started trusting and felt Michael is very honest. I never felt that he is trying to make up stories to charge me more. The problem got fixed far less than the other plumber quote of $6000 to summarise, Michael was very professional, trust-worthy and honest in resolving the problem. I strongly recommend Silva Plumbing.
