I have used the services of Veridis Plumbing and Heating Ltd twice in the last couple of years to clean and service my 3 fireplaces and 2 hot water tanks. They are extremely efficient and don’t cut corners. They are professional, courteous and above all knowledgeable. When they do a job it is done properly even going as far as rectifying other contractors install errors. I would recommend their services without hesitation and will continue to have them look after all my plumbing and heating requirements.
Proud & seasoned bathroom renovator writing this - Not so proud to admit that every once in a while I know when to check my ego and bring in a more qualified expert. Late last week I found myself in that situation in Duncan. I needed help so I started by asking my plumbing account manager at Wolseley Mechanical who he recommended. I had heard good things about Veridis and was pleased to see them on his short referral list. My first impression? Office Manager Jen was empathetic and professional. She was also very helpful and quickly dispatched plumber Mike who was equally professional & very well equipped to perform the complicated task. I've been in the renovations industry for 35 years and this sort of service is getting harder and harder to find - No hesitation in giving Veridis 5 stars.
Highly recommend Veridis. Corry is very knowledgable and fixed issues that another company did not address. He was able to do all the work in one appointment at a reasonable price.
Ask them to come and look at my fireplace. they are in Duncan, I am in Cobble Hill. They charged me $139.00 to come to Cobble Hill just to look at my fireplace. They spent 2 hours at house cleaning fireplace and looking at fireplace. Need a new thermal switch. But they did not have one. So could not fix. The cost for that was $440.00 Plus they charged me for parts, $22.00. Did not use any parts. Would not use them again or make sure you ask about cost before they come. Yes i did have trouble with my gas fireplace but you should of told me it was going to cost me $139.00 before you look at it and the person that came out did no testing, Just turned it on and then we shoot it off. Did some cleaning. He did not use any parts, just cleaned the glass. All it needed was a thermal switch. I new that. He also said he had to set my temp but he is the one that set it too high and then had to put it back. He said he was here for 3 hours. I think he was here for 2. In the end I fixed it myself. This same company wanted to charge me $700 to $800 to put in a 5 ft gas line to my stove.
Quick response to estimate request and great service. Would definitely use again.
