Masterworks Plumbing Svc Ltd

I scheduled an appointment a week in advance. Appointment was at 5:00pm. At 5:16pm I telephoned their office as the plumber hadn't showed up. I was advised at that time that the plumber was on their way. Dean arrived at 6:02pm. Dean was a nice guy and fixed the plumbing issue (job completed at 6:20pm - no parts required), then advised of their "flat rate" ($125 plus tax). While Dean was preparing the invoice at his vehicle on the street, I telephoned their office to say that I think there should be a refund as they arrived an hour late. Upon his return with the invoice, I advised Dean of same. Dean said there would be no discount as they weren't "exceptionally late". I questioned what exceptionally late was, and affirmed that, not only is my time as valuable as theirs, but in my industry being an hour late is exceptional. Dean commented that their office did phone me to advise of the time delay, to which I responded that in fact it was I who contacted their office to inquire about the whereabouts of the plumber. I did have dinner plans which I had to cancel due to their tardiness. I find their conduct to be unprofessional and disrespectful and, for that reason, I would not recommend their services.

A technician was able to come the day I called. The service was fast, friendly and honest. I really appreciated his advice and wouldn't hesitate to contact him again or refer him to family and friends.

Our on-demand water heater broke. Doug went out of his way to order the part and install it after hours. Superb service! Thank you.

I've had both Doug and Gary work on projects in my house and I've been extremely satisfied with their work and prices. Definitely my first choice when ever having to call a plumber in North Vancouver.
