If you like chasing tradesman go ahead get this guy. I have a policy if a tradesman don't return my calls or I have to phone him back 2 or more times it's on to the next company who may appreciate my business .To me if they don't return calls as promised their unreliable and I want nothing to do with them.

Highly overpriced and bad mouths competitors. Used his service to repair water leak on tank..did not work on tank and was told it was water regulator...replaced with new water regulator and was charged over $700. Couple of weeks later tank leaking worse than before. Called a different company to come look. Turns out the tank had ruptured. Kent Plumbing and Heating should have seen this on his visit!!!! Upon notification of this and stating that I would be using another company he proceeded to bad mouth the Company I chose. However, the Company I chose was wonderful and replaced tank for half the price that Kent Plumbing & Heating had mentioned to me on his visit. I do not recommend this Company.

I thought I should share this with people considering a furnace repair company. During our most resent snow storm my son had problems with furnace, a strong smell coming from the furnace. So bad that they had to shut it down because of it causing headaches and the fear of carbon monoxide poisoning. Phoned one company said they would come when the roads where good. 5 days later without heat, they never phoned or showed up. Others over the phone diagnosed cracked heat exchanger, hense a new furnace. Phoned Kent plumbing and heating, came over the next morning and installed a blower motor. $400.00 Later running great and heat in there home, and a young couple thats starting out in life together a couple thousand bucks left in their bank account. Great Job Tim Lake.

Predatory Plumber! Called Kent plumbing and heating to get a quote on a basic water heater install, basement level. Made the mistake of telling him I had a leaky existing heater. He quoted me $1500 plus taxes. I asked why so much for what I knew to be a $600 small tank, he said "the cost of tanks has really gone up." Ended up doing the job myself for just under $600. It was apparent to me he was trying to take advantage of someone who he thought was in an emergency situation.

He charged me over 300 for a USED toilet, could of gotten a new one for half the price... pick a different plumber!!!! Never mind how much he charged for the rest of the work.
