I have ended up with an $8000 wall decoration. Get minuscule heat from the gas fireplace - almost all heat goes up chimney and melts snow on roof. As far as I can figure out, no damper was installed in existing chimney, biput not sure. River City not helpful in resolving. Huge waste of money.
