We had a water leak at our townhouse so we called First Service residential immediately. However, the property management provided us New Water service for us to call. We called the plumber in the evening and been told that someone will come the following day (in the morning). I called the next day to follow up, and been told that no one will be coming because they were completely booked. They also said 'There is nothing we can do. I don't care what he told you but he gave you the wrong information. It is def not an internal miscommunication. I can send someone over tomorrow but I CANNOT guarantee.' I said 'but this is an emergency.' 'No it is not. You said you called in yday. If it was, then he should have came yday evening.' Unreliable service, period.
Tailgating and aggressive driving on a 400 series highway is not impressive. I hope that you are better plumbers, then drivers.
I only called New Water Plumbing because they regularly service my condo building. I should have checked the consumer reviews before. Here are some stats as at Jan 28, 2019: 3.8 out of 10 at HomeStars; 1.8 out of 5 at Google; 1 out of 5 at Yelp. The list goes on. Well, you get the idea. I was told that there was a plumber on site, hence I would not be charged for him to come to my unit to inspect the dripping faucet. The plumber was at my unit for less than 10 minutes, during which he never spoke to me. When he was done, he told me that everything was in good order. All he had to do was to tighten the parts around the faucet. He returned many hours later and handed me an invoice of $187. I cannot recall any more expensive and angrier 10 minutes in my life. They never asked for my consent for any work to be done at my unit, nor did I sign any contract or work order. Being a consumer, it is my right to make informative decisions. This right is definitely being violated. Speaking of communication, the plumber wiped the water off the floor with my towels in my laundry basket and tossed them out afterwards. I have a mop, Sponge paper towels and cleaning cloth. Do I charge New Water Plumbing for the towels I have to replace? This is bizarre. I called the office for resolution. I spoke to Dave first who is indifferent, then Mike who is rude.
Called at 3am for an emergency leak. Spoke to a live agent who said he could come now or 7:30 am if I could wait. Around 8 I call and they have no record of this and furthermore the tell me it’s not possible. They said sorry about that and someone will be ther with an hour and they’re busy. It’s a flood day I get it. Four hours later I call and ask how long they again have no recollection of my appointments. I have to plead the guy to ask his peers and he does and says he found the ticket. Despite knowing all those and me dealing with a burst pipe and buckets full of water he still tells me yes sorry we will try to get someone there ASAP but people who are dealing with floods are more important. Well did you not listen to what I’ve been saying?! That’s exactly what I called you guys for! Ughhh. Worst decision ever to wait on these guys
Rude and incompetent. I would give a rating of zero stars if it was possible. Jason, the plumber that came out wasn’t able to install my new Bosch dishwasher. I was still charged $288 though. There was a cost to fix the toilet but the majority of the cost was for the dishwasher disaster. I called the office after Jason left, October 22, and spoke with Dave who indicated that he would look into it and get back to me in 24hrs. 53 hours later, after I did not get a call back, I called again and spoke to the after hours people. They indicated they would relay my message. Again, I got no call the next day from the office. I then called again on Thursday, October 25, and left another message and again I did not get a call from your office. Friday, October 26, I called and spoke to Dave again who said he had been quite busy all week but would check in with Jason and call me within an hour. An hour came and went and I got no call. On Monday, October 29th, I called and finally spoke to Dave again, who said that he would send someone who he knows can do the job. Dave said the plumber would be here at 9am sharp on Friday, November 2. I made special arrangements to be at home to receive the plumber at 9am. No one showed up. At 5:30 pm someone finally came but was unable to do the job. I’m so disappointed in the service I received and no one really seems to care. A simple dishwasher installation and no one there could do it.
