Dealt with them years ago on my first bathroom renovation. After the job was done I used the toilet only to almost fall through the floor. I asked CJ Plumbing to come repair it and they refused saying the floor was uneven not their problem. I called Mr. Plumber to repair it and they did. They said my toilet had only two out of the eight screws fastened to the floor. Mr. plumber rebuilt the floor under the toilet leveling it and fastened all eight screws and I was pleased with the cost. My Hero. Great customer service and polite. CJ Express Plumber did not seal the holes around the pipes to the claw foot tub, they charged me $500 to take the tub out the house even when I did the demolition work. They bent house siding at door and did not offer to repair or pay. They did shim level the vanity, but it was not attractive and charged me more then agreed upon. I choose them because I wanted to help a guy whose daughter was friends with my daughter. Worst experience ever. Single mom and First house experience not good. He took advantage.
The experience I had with CJ´s plumbing was not good. This took place about a month ago, it still bothers me, so I thought I’ll share. This company was supposed to fix my water heater. They could not repair it but still charged me for three hours labour. I questioned the invoice in writing. Not a big issue, nothing that couldn’t be resolved with a quick phone call, maybe a little compromise. However, CJ´s plumbing decided to just go ahead and charge the full amount to my credit card, without any discussion or my approval. This is unprofessional, not right ethically, maybe even illegal. After I complained again I finally got a call back. The gentleman told me that they did nothing wrong, basically saying it is what it is, too bad so sad. I will never deal with this company again. My warning to you is, when they ask you for your credit card number before they accept a service call, consider it very carefully.
