Matt. M Prouse Electric and mechanical is your definition of a professional electrical and mechanical company. They are very well organized & managed, always on-time and on schedule. They drive well kept vehicles that have everything to get the job done right. Their trades are always kind & helpful. Zero communication. We've been wait for 3 weeks for work to be done. I had to call and email constantly, to get them moving on it. We already paid hydro one for all that was needed to start the job 2 weeks ago, and the locates have been done, and constant no show. We may have to move on to another el electrician. Well job is done, not without incident. I strongly suggest you do not use this company. Lazy, and very up prepare. They dug a ditch to put hydro underground, which they didn’t fully dig. Hydro one, and I, had to finish the dig. Prouse was very unaware of what they were supposed to do, the day of hook up. Lazy uncaring company!

700$ bill for two hours of work. Roughed in bathroom and toilet. Two hours-$700. I could not believe it.

If I could give these guys a zero I would. We built a very large home and our regular electrician was unavailable so we called these guys to do a very small job for us. They sent the owner’s son Joel…that was the first mistake. Instead of doing what we were paying him to do, he spent most of the time criticizing the work our other electrician had done in the house, as well as other subcontractors’ work right in front of them…I guess he likes to hear himself talk. He seemed jealous of the house. We just wanted a simple job done without all of the obnoxious “daddy boy” ego stuff. After he left, the other subcontractors had a good laugh. We’ll never hire them again.
