I paid $219.00 for Fernando to come out to fix a clogged tub drain. Not only did he not fix the drain but showed me pictures of broken pipes, supposedly under my house. I was then sent an estimate for over $3000.00 which mentioned nothing about the broken pipes. I felt exploited. The plumber who fixed my problem found no broken pipes and his total cost was just over $500.00.

Ok - after the popular plumbers who advertise on TV in San Rafael came out to deal with a simple case of blocked toilet and shower main drains over 2 hours late with attitude and couldn’t get the job done - mistaking attitude for effectiveness - while leaving me with a disgusting mess all over my master bathroom due to their completely bass ackwards approach to the problem, I called Roto Rooter of Novato on a Saturday morning. They were pleasant and Mike C showed up early, cheer-y and asked the right questions right off the bat. After taking about 15 minutes, boom blockage gone - pipes flowing and nonfuss no mess. They were amazing and professional and more cost effective, let alone project effective, than the plumbing company alternatives. Thanks, Mike, for the good humor and better service. Well done!!

Only use Roto Rooter if you are looking for the most capable and trustworthy. They are also the most responsive. I am going to compare their response time to an ambulance. Their work and price is so fair... but I do suspect they have a hoax on toilets to only break on weekends! In all seriousness, I was so pleased and relieved with their visit...especially since I have only one bathroom! Thank You Roto Rooter for your efficiency, professionalism, and for your comfort level. You are great!
