Don's Plumbing Heating & Air

Rob showed up 3 hours after initial call for our air conditioner on a 90 degree day and was already working on fixing it by the time my husband arrived. He explained everything he was doing in detail and gave some tips for future use/maintenance. Was very nice, polite and helpful. Did a great job, got us back up and running within the hour.

When I originally spoke to Don for an estimate on a pressure reducing valve on my water line, we discussed a couple of different options with the most expensive one being to run a line and the valve into my house. I was told the cost to have this done would be between $400-$600. I initially thought this was the way I would go. When his guys arrived I opted for what would be the cheaper route of having it set under my house since it stays fairly warm under there anyway. I was never told about the $145 first hour labor charge or $110 each additional hour until his employees were almost done, and never notified of a truck charge until I received my bill which totaled $640.88. If I would have gone with running the lines into my house it would have been over $1000, while I was expecting $400-$600 at the most. I was also billed for over 3 hours and they were at my house for 2, which I can prove with time stamps on my phone. I felt very deceived by the estimate I received and that the additional charges that I would be billed for above the original estimate were never mentioned or explained to me.

I truly onky wanted o give no stars. I am so upset by Bob. I contacted Bob at 10:30am asking if he could install my hot water tank. He said yes he would. He took all relative information needed...name, address & phone number and he said I will call you when I leave here. I said that sounds great. I have waited from 11am-3pm Bob did not call. I called Bob and he said no you were suppose to call us back. He said we can't get to you tonight. I said okay. Now, I can not find anyone to come out on a Friday evening and install my hot water tank. I have to wait until next week. This is very poor and bad business.

THE rudest people I’ve ever dealt with servicing my home. Used them 12 years ago and had a horrible experience with him. Vowed to never use them again, but we need work done on a brand new hot water heater we had installed a little over a month ago.. his name was given to us as the a contractor that works on warranty repairs. We call after hours last night and they tell us Don will call us this morning. He never did, so my husband calls him only to be told by Don himself, “he ain’t workin on no warranty repairs” .. he was EXTREMEY RUDE once again. Basically he doesn’t want to do warranty work for a company, that he clearly has signed up to do warranty work for, I wonder if it’s because he can’t swindle them and overcharge them ike he did to us all those years ago?What a piece of work. Save yourself some time and heartache and call someone else. Anyone else.

Poor service. Made the plumbing in my grandparent's house worse than before they came to fix it.
