We've used him a couple of times at our HOA in Langley. Quirky, but effective. Fit us in same day, showed up, and had the drain cleared in short order. I think he specializes in clearing drains. Fixed price as I understood it, not hourly.
Unprofessional, terrible communication and lacks basic ability to provide proper expectations. If you're too busy for the amount of work... that's fine, but don't tell someone you're going to show up... then don't... then say you're going to and then don't reply to phone calls, texts or voice mails... for 30+ hours and finally call and give some of the most unprofessional communication I have heard in a very long time. "THERE ARE ONLY SO MANY HOURS IN THE DAY!" and "WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO?! FALL OVER AND DIE!?" Of course we don't, but if you have a queue of work and you believe that you wont get to us today, due to that work load, then please let us know that we might want to find another plumber. We wasted a Friday evening, entire Saturday and Sunday morning waiting for this plumber. With the exception of two calls and the last final incredibly unprofessional call... no communication.
Plumber was scheduled by my landlord to arrive Friday afternoon. He finally called 2 hours after he was supposed to arrive to say he couldn't make it but would be able to show up the following morning. I waited all day for him. Never showed. Didn't answer his phone, nor return my voicemail or text. Calling the company directly didn't help either. What a waste of a Saturday.
We had a major blockage in our line leading to the septic tank and we had tried to clear it with a rented snake. This did nothing to help it. I called Andy and he fit us in between other calls that he had scheduled. He was here no more than 5 minutes and the line was clear! He was fast, friendly, respectful and he will be our 'go-to' plumber from now on.
