This is a review of a very positive experience with E & M Mechanical (Burlington, VT area). The company has done work on our air conditioning system. From the first call, to the interaction with the office staff, to the actual technician, this has been the most positive experience. The company scheduled the technician to come out as quickly as it was possible (cannot think of a faster response time), the technician was very professional, prepared, polite, efficient, and fast. Hi identified and fixed the problem very quickly. He worked carefully and attentively. You could tell the technician takes pride in his work. The same goes for all the interactions with the office personnell. Highly recommended service provider.

Never gave no estimate prior to work. I asked 3 times prior to tech being at my door. Get bill in mail for over $600, 2 weeks later for changing parts which are total less than $ 100. Tech was done in 15 min and told me parts should not be more than 100 together. His labour was under 200. Never gave me price individually for parts just lumped them into one total. They did fix the boiler and it still works to their credit.

Absolutely great company. Joe was fantastic and went above and beyond. Very respectful of my home. Found a very precious necklace of mine in my drain and without hesitation gave it to me even though it looked like garbage. Very great full for such a perfect company. Thank you Joe!!!!

I have used this company 3 years for all my plumbing needs. Each of the employees who came to my condo were friendly, efficient, and very good at their job. However, it can be quite difficult to schedule an appointment since it's not unusual to wait days before anyone responds to the message you left. Basically any sort of communication with the office/schedulers was poor. The final time I choose this company it took 5 days to even hear back. When I finally did hear back, was told that they couldn't do the job I had described on their voicemail. If they couldn't do the job, it would have been helpful/professional to say so days before, so I could look for another plumber. I always paid my bill the day I received it, and was naturally polite to every worker. However because of the communication difficulties E&M has lost me as a customer.
