I used American Leak Detection in San Diego Pool Division. These people dont return phone calls and were quick to leave the job. They said they would give me a report and NOTHING. The guy didnt even leave a receipt or tell anyone he was leaving. Do yourself a big favor and call someone else. This company sucks!
Never used the company. Possibly the tenants at my property called them. They sent me a bill and said they will report to credit if i dont pay them. Seems like blackmail. Beware !!!!
Don't ever use this company!! I live in Beaumont, CA and called what I thought was a reputable company to provide leak detection and repair of my swimming pool. Not only was it expensive (more than $300 to fill epoxy around the spa drain) but here three months later the leak is back. Everyone from the first person to answer the phone to Glenn the "manager" stated that there is no warranty on their work, and they would charge an additional $150 to come and "just look" at the pool again. Ridiculous. The technician told me that the repair was gonna last and that if anything else ever came up to call them. Now it will cost me over $1000 to repair by chipping away the drain and replacing it. If they would have told me that from the beginning then we wouldn't be there today. It is a total rip off and an up-sell. They are more concerned with filling their pockets than taking care of people and creating a good name for themselves. So here I am, a very dissatisfied customer who wants to warn everyone BEWARE!!!
I appreciate people's performance. I also understand about running a business. But $165 to change one hose under the sink! It's way too much.
I called on a Thursday for emergency on-going/current major water leak and was told I could not get an appointment until Tuesday! Their ads say 24/7 emergency, so when I asked about that, she said it would be almost triple the normal cost for "after hours". I said fine -get the appointment. Then I'm told she will call the techs to get an appointment and call me right.back. SHE NEVER CALLED ME BACK. I would never reccomend a company that does business this way.
