I wish I could give zero stars. Here is my story so you can judge for yourself whether you want to do business with a company like this. 1. I had to replace my hot water heater because it no longer worked. I bought it from My Plumber because they had done work for the former homeowner of my house. 2. They installed the hot water heater for $3500 which is way more expensive that I wanted, but considering I have two toddlers at home and my husband and I worked full time jobs, we had to get it done that day. 3. The hot water leaked from the output pipe because they didn't weld it properly. The pan filled with water. They sent someone out later that night during dinner time and they stay until 9:30pm. I had two toddlers who wouldn't go to sleep at that point from the excitement. 4. The next day, I discovered that my kitchen faucet didn't work. They came out to look at it and charged me an addition few hundreds of dollars to fix the problem they had caused and told us that "it was half off and a deal for us." 5. A week and half later, the water heater is leaking again, this time from its gaskets. The drip pan is full. They sent out a tech who told me he couldn't do anything about it. He said he would send out the original tech. 6. I just called after the waiting window was over and they told me that they would send someone else, but not the original tech. With my insistence, they finally agreed to send out the original tech, but I also want to speak to the manager. The dispatcher put me on hold and then said, I spoke to him and he told me that "he is in a meeting." 7. We spent over $3,500, had 4 visits from a tech, and took three days off, and all we have is a new leaky water heater to show for it. I wish I hadn't called this company. Update: My new water heater was installed and it is functioning well. I appreciate that My Plumber took care of it before dinnertime. I also appreciated their marketing manager's empathetic response to my concerns.
My Plumber was amazing! We somehow sprung a leak in our kitchen faucet and knew it had to be replaced. We used Home Advisor to locate plumbers in the area. Not only did they email us but also called us within an hour. We went out and purchased a new faucet (but they will also purchase a new one for you the rep explained) and not only did they come over the same day to install it, but they did so on a Sunday at no additional weekend cost. The customer service both on the phone with a woman named Janet and the gentleman who installed it we’re outstanding, we will definitely bring using them again in the future for any plumbing needs!
Issa did a great job installing our dishwasher. He worked hard, was quite humorous, and cleaned everything up. He even took the old dishwasher away afterward, which I appreciated. Ten out of ten stars in my opinion.
Today I was scammed out of $657.00 so I notified AMEX to file a dispute if management does not reach back out to me as promised by customer service. I prepaid the technician (Larry) $657.00 which includes my 10% military discount for services that he left my house “twice” without completing...all within a 24hr period. Larry Charged me $657.00 for two AC capacitor (40/5 and a 45/5 dual 400) both value less than $20 each at other retailers. He installed one AC Capacitor on 06/31/19 around 7pm and told me he would need to come out the next day 07/01/19 to install the second one. He assured me the unit which he did install was fixed but it wasn’t. I called customer service (Jennifer) the very next morning at 0730AM (12hrs after Larry claimed to have fixed the unit) and I informed Jennifer that my AC was still blowing hot air after. I stated I wanted a refund if Larry still doesn’t fix both units when he comes back out. Larry came out that afternoon at 4pm to install the second capacitor and I told him I wanted a refund being within 12hrs the part he installed stopped working. I called customer service and spoke to Camilla on speaker phone with Larry standing by listening. She said because Larry was still actively working, I’d need to file a request for the refund when he closes out the work order. Camilla said she will pass my information to management and someone will contact me. Larry left my house without fixing the unit or issuing the refund. I’m hoping management makes this right because I still have an AC unit needing to be fixed. Larry was dishonest saying it would be an easy fix with the two capacitors that I pre ordered from him for $657, which really only cost roughly $20 each. Total disappointment.
Issa Dahhak did a fantastic job with installation of water heater and replacing small leaks in pipes. He provided excellent advice and did a thorough job with supporting advice going forward. Totally happy with the service and results so far.
