EDIT 2: MEP Came today to make it right. Got the leak fixed. I’ve adjusted the review! Thanks guys. EDIT: happy to report that MEP has reached out to make this right. Once they come out, I’ll update my review accordingly. MEP Home Services will be embarrassed by the plumbing work that was done at my house. MEP serviced my home warranty on my new house. I had them come out to fix a leaking drain trap on the sink. The first time they came out, the plumber made a wad of plumbers putty around the leaking area. Obviously this didn’t fix the problem. Still leaked - I had them out again (through the home warranty) and the plumber replaced most of the drain piping under the sink. I looks awful as you can see in the pic. Best part is, it still leaks from the exact same place. The union joint is crooked because the glue joints aren’t straight. It never had a chance to seal. I’m out of the warranty period on my house. I called and asked if MEP would guarantee the work they did a few months ago. The person on the phone said they would not stand behind the work they did and I would have to pay to have someone come out. I’ll have to rip out the work and redo it myself.

These guys were great. They explained everything to me, even called the home warranty company, HMS, to work with them to expedite. Great company, I will use them again, but I will stay away from HMS national home warranty company, terrible service. It took them more than 7 weeks to get a new hot water heater. They sent it to the wrong place twice, and then ordered the wrong one. Unacceptable

I signed up to receive the maintenance package. The first day i had Eric who greeted with me a firm handshake and introduced himself and why he was there. He did all he could however i had frozen coils and it wasn’t much he could do so he scheduled me for the next day and let me know everything i needed to do to make sure the system was ready for the follow up visit. Next i got Gary, he came in with a firm handshake and greeting as well. Gary was super open and honest about everything. He walked me through steps i can take to prevent energy waste during both the summer and winter months. He made sure i was well informed on my options as far as repair options and prices. Very excellent service over all!

They don't even deserve 1 star. It is 98 degrees outside with a heat index of 115 degrees. I have a 2 year old son who I had to find childcare for today to get him out of the house because he was getting over heated. My home warranty company contacted the last night.... About 20 hours ago and I never got a call. I called MEP this morning and they said that they would have a technician call me. Which didn't happen. 5 hours later I called them back to let them know that it is 92 degrees in my house and ac is not working at all. They again said someone would contact me and no one did. I called my home warranty company to see if they could get someone out, so they called MEP themselves. The home warranty company explained to them that they need an expedited service because of the inside and outside temperature. MEP told her that they don't respond out on weekends, refused to provide her name and hung up on her. I'm sure they are busy because there is a heat wave, etc. But this is unacceptable. If you can't send someone out on the weekend you should have told me the first 2 times I called to inquire instead of promising me that someone would contact me to come fix it. I can't even be in my own home right now because the temperatures are too much to bare. Shame on you MEP. Poor customer service, no compassion at all. Now I will wait another 4 hours to have another vendor respond since you failed.

Great experience with the tech! He knew what he was doing and minimized damage. On time and very professional. Highly recommend
