I needed to replace a broken toilet flange. Though it was done correctly, I feel I was overcharged. I told the company over the phone what needed to be done. However, they came out the first day unprepared to do the work. I was charged 120 for that day but they had to come back another day. Since I was at work the day they needed to come, I took the dogs to a day care to keep out of their way. The same plumber came out to do the work the second day, but was still missing parts for the job. Since I live in a rural area, he drove 1.5 hours round trip into town to Lowe's to get the parts and charged me for that time. At 120 per hour, that was 180 I was charged due to his mistake. Overall, 300 worth of charges could have been avoided if the plumber came prepared the first time. Also, there is a plumbing supply store within 15 minutes from my house. He opted to go to Lowes, 35 to 40 minutes away from my house. Overall, I'm happy with the work but not with the overcharge. I will use a different plumber next time I need work done.

RJ Tilley did it again!! They remodeled our hair salon, Hair Park Studio, it is amazing! Quick, clean and accurate! So pleased with the work and kind employees!!

Follow-up to review below: Some say that first impressions are everything but realistically, every first impression may not be a good one. I think seizing an opportunity to make a wrong right carries just as much weight and that's exactly what happened with my experience with RJ Tilley. The president reached out to me, offered a sincere apology and he and his team provided A+ customer service while removing and installing a hot water heater in my home. I am thoroughly satisfied with the work and the customer service received. We live in a real world and everything is not going to go the way we want or anticipate sometimes but what's important is to see the error of our ways and make an attempt to fix it. RJ Tilley did exactly that and has gained a new customer. Thank you! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- I attempted to procure business with this company to have a gas hot water heater installed. But because I asked "too many questions", Mr. Brooks declined to do business with me. I have never been declined by a company to do business and especially not because I'm asking questions to better understand what is needed, the process, and overall cost. I thought that our call was disconnected but I believe this man hung up on me. When I called back, as soon as he got on the line he politely informed me that he would like to pass because he had a bad feeling because I was asking too many questions. Although he was very polite, before he hung up, I've never heard of a company declining business because someone is asking questions. If you plan to do business with this company, be sure to have all of your questions answered before you call.

We have been waiting to become empty-nesters before remodeling our guest bathroom that also served as the children's bath. From the beginning we knew RJT was the right choice. They were responsive to our request for quotes, honest about the pricing and flexible with the scheduling. The project came in on time and within budget. Yeah! Each person that we had contact with was incredible. Steve, company President visited the house for review and to chat with us about what we wanted. Kind and made great suggestions. Lisa is a wonderfully talented designer who opened up on a Saturday (they are closed to the public on that day) to spend a couple hours with us selecting materials and fixtures. BTW, she is funny; could be a comic! The work teams were amazingly respectful of our home, cleaning it each day. Dana was patient with us as we worried about whether the project could be finished in time for a party we had planned. It was! What a great experience.
