Franks All City Plumbing

A day late and a hundred dollars too much. I sent Frank pictures of my broken shower vavle. He didn't have to come and troubleshoot anything. He scheduled me for four days later at a time of his choice and then he was a NO SHOW!!! Not what you want after a week of two adults and no shower. He later offered to reschedule the following afternoon and appeared at my door with a white beard and dressed in white shorts and without tools. Writing the check took longer than screwing the valve on by hand. He charged me $152 an hour (1/2hr to get the part and 1/2hr to install it)... plus the part and was unable to give me a receipt on the spot. He emailed it to me later. What??? I'm in the service business too. This is poor customer service IMO. Don't text him anything. Don't rely on voicemail. His communication is terrible and knowledge of how my shower is supposed to work was questionable when I watched him try to test out the part he just installed he had trouble because he didn't turn it on. REALLY? What if this was a real big emergency? I am a do it yourselfer. Sometimes I'm hard to please. This time I was NOT satisfied. Call someone else. Bob.

We've got a three-unit building - three kitchens, three laundry rooms, 6 bathrooms - so there are plumbing problems from time to time. We've used Frank many times and we've been really pleased - he's honest, prompt, and does quality work.

Frank was prompt, quick and solved our plumbing issue within minutes. Thanks Frank, now we have clean dishes again!
