Solutions Mechanical & Plumbing - Charlottesville

I was experiencing some water backing up from a laundry drain in the basement. Solutions Plumbing set up an appointment with me first thing a few days after I called and the plumber was promptly on time (even called ahead). Charlie quickly and efficiently assessed the issue and took his time cleaning out the drain and piping (sensitive due to it being cast iron). He was quick, efficient and kept the immediate area clean of gunk and excess water. Great experience and would highly recommend.

We were extremely pleased with the quick response and quality repair that we received on a Friday morning for our plumbing leak! Their employee, Charlie, was able to find the leak, repair the shower , find the part and replace it all that very day and we were back to normal and no more plumbing problems. DO NOT CALL!!! The pressure release valve on my water heater was dripping. The plumber looked at the sticker on the water heater and said it was simply too old and needed to be replaced. He did not run any diagnostics to see why it was leaking. I asked him several times if he could test the pressure in the tank to see if it was over heating or if it could be a faulty valve. He refused to do anything and because he was a master plumber with 20years of experience and the heater was just too old. He gave me a quote for new heater ($1200+) and left. I called another plumber right away who came and ran several diagnostic tests, checked the pressure and figured out that it was just a faulty valve. He replaced the valve which fixed the leak! DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE!!!

I had lost practically all the water in my house. I was afraid I was going to go dry! Right as rain, near as soon as I called Solutions Mechanical for help, David showed up. He got me diagnosed, set up, worked on, and finished off great - water in my house is running again. He was super polite too. I'll call Solutions Mechanical again!

Great work and clean up. Had problem with unit, wires burned. The fixed it the 1st time about a year ago.... happened a second time and they wouldn’t fix it. Got an electrician whom said it was the use of wire nuts on 2 different size wires ( copper to aluminum) and not the Circuit breaker. They use blocks rapped in rubber then electrical tape. Took less than a hour.
