I would like to recommend Amigos, Danny are very professional and kept me posted every step of the process. The rates were very reasonable and more than competitive. Keep up the great work, I will be using you in the future. Thank you.
I highly recommend Amigos Plumbing; they are affordable, professional, and reliable. I needed my washer relocated to another area in my house. Danny was able to come up with an affordable solution.
Amigos was contracted through our home warranty company. We found a water leak from the water heater and called it in to the warranty folks. Danny came out the next day, found the issue, and explained it in laymen terms, which was much appreciated. Danny even offered plumbing advice for other concerns we had. The service follow up was great, Anthony and Curtis showed up on-time, left no mess to clean up afterwards, and we're happy to continue supporting this veteran-owned business.
Had an appointment to fix water heater and John arrived assessed the situation and fixed it quickly! Very professional, the price was great and the svc outstanding. I definitely recommend and if I have another issue I’ll go back to them!!
There's nothing more disappointing than a business that doesn't take responsibility for their actions. Unfortunately for us, we found this out the hard way about Amigos Plumbing in October 2018. For the past 2 years, Amigos Plumbing had done several minor repairs at our 2 rental properties through our warranty company. Their work and customer service was just okay, nothing to write home about. In some instances, our tenants complained that their techs always left a mess, had to come back multiple times just to finish the job, and sometimes just did nothing during a service call or seemed like they were inexperienced. We let all that go because at the end of the day, they got the job done and for the most part, our warranty paid. One good thing I can say is that their techs were always courteous. That's not enough to be a good business, though. Our latest repair with them was for failing shower/tub valves on 2 bathrooms on the second floor. They had 2 techs come on Oct 3, 2018 Wednesday. They informed us that they will need access through drywall, will have to submit the work order to warranty and come back another time. The next day, warranty calls us. We do our part and confirm to them that we approve of the work order. Now, before Amigos came over on Wednesday, the valves were showing signs of leaking but nothing that was causing noticeable water damage. Three days pass and on Sunday, our tenant informs us that the leak has spread onto the first floor ceiling and caused the ceiling drywall to become soaked and discolored, like wet cardboard. It was now a full-on leak. As confirmed by someone at Amigos who was speaking with my husband after this took place, it's leaking because the valves were removed and they needed approval before they could install new ones. The VALVES WERE REMOVED AND LEFT TO LEAK OVER THE WEEKEND. They initially came in on Wednesday, we approved the work with warranty on Thursday, and they should have come back on Friday to do the work but did not. IT'S FOUR DAYS LATER AND WE'RE LOOKING AT A BIG LEAK AND MAJOR WATER DAMAGE. We were not aware that they had removed the valves nor was anyone advised on whether the water main should be shut off. Had we known they removed the valves but couldn't do the work, we would have just declined warranty and paid for someone else to do it asap. Because of this, WE HAVE HAD TO SPEND $3,700 TO RIP OUT DRYWALL, DRY THE SOAKED FLOORING AND CEILING, AND REPLACE THE VALVES. WE HAVEN'T EVEN PUT THE DRY WALL BACK UP. Amigos Plumbing, our warranty company, and my husband had some back-and-forth but in the end, we didn't feel that they nor the warranty company took any kind of responsibility for the damage caused through negligence. We were not looking to have them pay for the damages--just some responsibility for their negligence and some willingness to work with us to fix at least the very thing they were supposed to fix. At the time this latest incident occurred, they've already had our business for 2 years. Needless to say they have lost our business. It's a shame because based on recent reviews, it looks like they have turned their business around from prior years when they had really horrible reviews. It sounds like they do a good job on minor issues. But for bigger ones, do yourself a favor and look for a more responsible and reliable plumber.
