I just got off the phone with Fixd Repair for an AC unit repair. My AC has been out since Saturday, this is the hottest week of the year in central Texas. On Saturday I was told that I had been scheduled from 3-5 today, Monday. Great. I could figure out what to do for two and a half days. I come home around 2:30 today, it was 100 degrees in my house. As of 5:00 no one showed up. When I called I was told that no one picked up my ticket and there wasn't any sign of a technician being available, but they were trying to reschedule. This would have been great information to relay to someone knowing it is Texas in August. I had been sitting in a 100 degree house for 2.5 hours dripping in sweat, waiting for someone who I was led to believe would show, but was never coming. They then informed me about the reimbursement option. Again, that would have been great information from beginning given it is 104 (plus heat index) outside and they don't have enough technicians to do the work in Texas. So, by choosing the home warranty. I am now out multiple days of no home, it is completely uninhabitable. I have to find my own technician, which I could have done from the beginning, and now I have to go rent a hotel room until I can get someone out here to fix it.

Awesome home warranty company! I’m a REALTOR and have dealt with home warranty co for 12 yrs. This company is different! They are incredibly user friendly and actually FIX things without all the extra charges and fees! I use them myself and recommend them to my clients!

This review covers two different experiences. The actual repair work was a five star experience. Tech was on time and did great work. Total professional. However, the payment experience was a one star disaster. I downloaded the mobile app and registered but never received text confirmation so it never allowed me to log in. Because I couldn’t log in I couldn’t track his arrival. Then when work was done I received an email with a zero dollar invoice. I called immediately to tell them there was a mistake to be told “our system does that, just wait. Five days later I get another email telling me I’m late and need to pay. I press pay button and it asked me for my credit card. I enter it and then it throws an error that I don’t have a card on file. There is no way to put a card on file so I call these jokers again. Only then am I told I could never pay online because I didn’t buy their warranty. First time I ever heard that. Totally clown car.

Patrick, the technician who came out on behalf of Fixd, was early, friendly, and thorough. He explained the issues, replaced the bad valve, and had my refrigerator working again in no time. Very impressed with the whole process. Scheduled on my phone, kept in the loop, and even knew exactly where my tech was through the app. So glad I went with Fixd.

Chris is very friendly, knowledgeable, informative, and thorough. Our pool was green and ugly when we purchased our home. Although we have been self care pool owners previously, getting our pool back in shape was beyond our experience. We brought in the experts and after just 3 weekly visits we were finally swimming in a beautiful pool! Thank you!
