This company is the worst plumbing in the world. sorry techs and sorry management. They have messed up a pipe in my attic and kitchen sink. I still had to have another plumbing company out to fix these problem. I call corporate never calls me back. Now it’s time fir me to do a complaint to BBB. “PLEASE DON’T USE THEM” And calling state office on them.
I have set 2 appointments with them and they never called or came. I guess they have plenty of business. I know I have missed two half days of work and no one showed up.
I had scheduled a repair with Mr. Rooter at our house thru American Home Shield and was told they would call 30 minutes before arrival. Mr. Rooter's office did call on the day of the scheduled repair and said the repairman would be there in 30 minutes, so I rushed home from the other side of town. I arrived at the scheduled time but no one was at the house. After waiting about 10 minutes I finally called their office to see where the repairman was. They explained that he had arrived 30 minutes earlier than expected and left because nobody was home. No phone call, no 'I'm sorry', no nothing but to say they could schedule me in the following week. Needless to say I opted to use another repair company that fit me into their schedule a lot quicker. To add insult to injury I received a $75 service charge from American Home Shield. I had to threaten cancelling my AHS contract to get the charge reversed. Not going down that road again. Will use anybody other than Mr. Rooter for my next plumbing repair.
DO NOT USE...this technician gave me an absurd diagnosis! He showed up 4 hours late, glanced at the area the leak was located and quoted me 5000.00. Needless to say I told him to leave.
I had two leaks: One under whirlpool tub & another under kitchen sink. AHS policy is to that I need to pay $75 for the service call. I scheduled a service request and AHS assigned the job to Mr. Rooter. Whirlpool tub: Mr Rooter's representative looked at my whirlpool tub leak.... went to call the insurance and came back and said I need to pull the tub out to fix the leak as there is no room to even get a wrench for him inside, let alone fix the leak. It will cost ~$1850 and that insurance (AHS) has denied the claim. I worked with AHS to get a second opinion and this time they send someone who knew what he was doing. He diagnosed it as a loose fitting and got his special wrench out and tightened the connection and BAAM... no more leak!! He fixed the problem in less than 5 minutes. Kitchen Sink Leak: Mr Rooter's representative looked at the leak under the kitchen sink and gave me feedback on what needs to be changed. He however did not mention this to AHS because he obviously needs another $75 for that. Overall, very disappointing that I Mr Rooter got paid $75 by me via AHS. They don't deserve a penny.
