We had another plumber out who used a camera to check our drain to find out why it was backing up. We were told we had a broken pipe in the footprint of our home that would require re-routing or tunneling to fix. We had someone else come out for a second opinion and they said the same thing. As we were expecting to spend thousands of dollars to have the problem fixed, we decided to have a third company come out to give us a quote. Eric from Pilot Plumbing came out and checked the pipe with his camera and told us he did not see that the pipe was broken. He kept looking to figure out what was causing the back up and found that there was a grease clog further down the line. He cleared it out and we have not had any problems since! This was a huge relief, to say the least!

We highly recommend Pilot Plumbing! They arrived on time, fixed the problem promptly, and are super nice guys! We have no hesitancy in giving them 5 stars. We will be using them for all our plumbing needs.

Initially I was relatively pleased. Relatively in that I needed a 20' run of galvanized pipe replaced with pex. This was estimated at $350. Looking further, more of the galvanized had pin holes so ended up replacing another 60' or so. The price ballooned to $2300, took them about 3 hours. Felt seriously taken advantage of. But wait, it gets worse. Apparently while they were in my attic running pex they kicked the air return duct work loose from the filter box. It took a couple months, but all of the duct work is now saturated with water as is the plenum. And, I have some new stains in the ceiling as we did not know water condensate was running off all the piping like a mid-summer night's thunder storm. Getting the A/C guys engaged, it became clear that pulling 110 degree, humid air from the attic into the A/C unit will do that. Current estimates are $5,660 to replace all the duct work, plenum and pipe insulation. Yippee, sucks to be me. I strongly recommend passing these guys by ...
