J & K Plumbing

I had a leak on my faucet outside and home shield had this company come. I seen all the bad reviews and was nervous for them to come. However from the lady answering the phone to the technician coming over they were awesome. Maybe they made some changes.

AHS sent J&K Plumbing, bad company, to fix my valve leak and told me that is fixed. It still has big leak and J&K said that's normal after some years usage. He want to charge $625 for the complete fix. Then AHS sent another 5 star company, SIRIUS PLUMBING. They fixed it for me completely easily.

I should have looked at the reviews here. I called about our tankless water heater and the technician came out and said it needed servicing and he doesn't do work on tankless we would need to call someone to service it, its not broken. My hot water is working intermittently, the person who doesn't work on tankless hot water is now the expert....what a joke

I don't usually write reviews, but they had great customer care, contacted me before arriving and resolved the problem super quick. Could not be happier with the service.

On 10-31-18 J&K Plumbing was contracted by American Home Shield to check out a water leak in our home. Two plumbers showed up to repair the leak. The plumbers stepped into our master closet carpet and felt it and said you have a leak. They indicated that it must be bathroom tub and said AHS wouldn’t let them investigate the leak if it wasn’t visible. I called in Imperial Plumbing to remove the skirt on the tub. There was no leak. Imperial then investigated the leak using modern technology and found a hot water leak in the bathroom wall behind the vanities. I then called in AHS to request emergency help as the leak was getting worse. J&K sent back one of the plumbers to investigate. He then looked at wet spot in the floor and said he would need to check with AHS for authorization to repair it. J&K Plumbing then left with the leak still spreading throughout my home. Never to be heard of again. AHS repeated to me that J&K told them that they turned off the water which was a boldfaced lie. On November 8, AHS left me a message that the water leak coverage was denied. J&K to this day would have let my house flood and mold without one word. Totally incompetent business.
