I was referred to the company through my home warranty. The technician showed up a bit late but that’s okay. They said the water heater needs to be replaced. The technician sent the report to the home warranty company the same night. They charged me $900+ (On top of $100 for the warranty company) to pull a permit and replace the water heater. This $900 is on top of whatever they charged my home warranty company. When I asked about the permitting process they said they do the repair then they pull a permit which will be mailed to my address and then I can call for an inspection. If the city inspector required anything to be fixed they will come back and fix it. As of today (more than 6 months passed) I never received anything in mail. I also called a friend of mine who happens to be a plumber and he said the whole replacement including materials must be about $700. So basically these guys charged me $300 more and made me wait 3 days for the report and paperworks stuff between the two company. P.S. The new water heater works fine. I am not complaining about the technical work performed. I just see them screwing me financially.
Referred from warranty company- they came after another company failed to clear a stoppage in my shower and left a big mess- AJ Bono came on time, technicians were friendly and professional- got the job done and even cleaned up the mess left by the previous company. I have also used them on a retail basis and found them to be not only reliable but also reasonably priced. They come through when others fail!!
Plumber showed up, was extremely experienced, professional and a good thanks Rafael. he replaced a large broken water heater, took his time correcting the out of code original installation, and cleaned up the mess we created trying to stop the water flow.
Were not reliable and then when they did finally show up they charged the home warranty company for 7 hours of work when they were only at my house for 1.5 and didn't even work on the issue. I ended up calling a local company and they showed up on time, were professional and quickly fixed the leak!
