I called them and asked them to come give me a quote for some electric work . They came and gave me a quote and the following Monday I called and asked the girl if they were going to provide a generator for my refrigerator while they do the work. She said she would have to ask and get back to me. Monday afternoon I called and told her I needed to make a decision and when was she going to find out. Again she said she didn't know that the guy she was supposed to ask was busy. Ok here I sit Tuesday morning and again no phone call. Well I went with another company .They had also told me that it would take 2 weeks to be put on the schedule, well I'm not giving you half the money and your not gonna show up for 2 weeks. You lost my business. I guess your so busy you don't need new customers. Wow!! All I can say!!
I've had Justin our several times for odds and ends, and he's always prompt and dependable! He recently installed two wall-mounted TVs in my home; he came in at HALF the price "Geek Squad" was going to charge me! Even better, on several occasions Justin and his crew have DONATED their talents on various Dyess We Care Team project when we've gotten in "over our heads". LOVE Honey Do!!
Very punctual. Showed up when they said they would and completed the job when they said they would. Very pleased with the workmanship and will consider using again for other projects.
We had some installations done at our home by Honey Do service and they did an great job installing the bathroom vanity, tile in the garage, and outlet! The man was professional and worked efficiently. Jason adjusted our contract when needed. I would highly recommend them for your installation needs!
State Farm Insurance calls Honey Do's work negligent and inferior to the owner's request. There are only 4 photographs of many that have or will upload, but from these four they tell the whole story. a beautifully designed Mexican slate terrace decking was destroyed by Honey Do attempting to install two cedar wraps on the left and right side of the decking. The entire decking was needlessly destroyed. Had Honey Do marked the stones as they moved them to replace the stones this demolition would not have occurred . They did not use common sense and did not use placement marking to replace the stones. The two tier decking is destroyed. As you can see from only 2 photographs the decks were demolished. There were other services that Honey Do was also doing as well. They shorted out an outside Bose speaker that no longer works, broke a front living room window pane, put up three colors of drip edge and did not wrap the drip edges around the the top edge of the facia corner roofing. surrounding the entire home. They stopped communicating.... left the job sight leaving a mass of wood, metal drip edging, and other materials in he driveway that has now been there for weeks and have never returned or called back. Basically they botched the job, sacrificing my home and left it. They created a construction hazard and Honey Do nor anyone is allowed on my property unless I am there or someone I authorize. I am currently in the action phase of my next steps to correct the costly , needless and careless acts this company did to my home. Hiring Honey Do is not the same as hiring a home building contractor. This franchise is a handyman company and not referred by many on the higher professional levels of construction design and home remodeling. Needless to say the destruction of anything related to my home is heartbreaking, but worse is Honey Do walking off the job site assuming no responsibility for their destructive and careless actions.related to the Mexican slate. The last communication was from the foreman David who came over in the afternoon on Wednesday telling me how crazy it had been that day and he would be back tomorrow. Tomorrow came and went without David showing up as did all communication from Honey Do. David was attempting to put the mason demolition back in some kind of order. Impossible. This isn't over. The reason for the one star, this review won't post unless you leave at least 1 star which they don't deserve. I have an extensive photo file which I will be using to show what they do and leave at your home when they walk off the job. It has been almost a month since the debris from Honey Do Services has been sitting in my driveway blocking my use of the drive. Today September 27th 2018 I I hired a company to remove the debris from my home so no children would be endangered and I could use the driveway for my vehicles. Anyone in Abilene is welcome to come and view what this company did to my home including slandering me. They destroyed the surround sound to my home. Destroyed existing drip edging and they were not allowed on the property due to an out of control employee who was on my property working stroked from the July heat and without my permission. One employee can do alot of damage and one owner can be dishonorable. The photographs of the demolished slate terrace tell the entire story. State Farm agrees calling Honey Do's work negligent. Jason Ramirez is the owner of this franchise. Based on his own words he clearly is dishonorable. I have requested 3 premier vendors to write a letter to my business ethics and professional demeanor that I was working with at the same time frame as Mr. Ramirez . Mr. Ramirez would attempt to defend his actions. Unfortunatly he chose to go to the negative. State Farm will not repair any work done by any company on a home that State Farm declares the work to be negligent or inferior work. This is the case with my claim with State Farm and Honey Do Services. The claim was denied. At your risk.
