I've visited this store many years without any issue, until I visited the flooring desk to have a quote for carpet and pad. At the time the measurement request was entered, training was occurring, as such, I expected the process to take a little longer which was not an issue at all. However, the two visits once I was provided a verbal estimate, it all became more difficult. Through other store managers, I found out my quote process was not handled to standards, as I was never provided any documentation other than a receipt for the payment of the measurement services. Finally, on tonight's visit, nobody in flooring could be found. I tracked down an associate who called for Tony, but after 10 minutes, Tony never showed up. Another associate came to the flooring desk where I was waiting, never bothered to see if I needed any help, but as he was walking away, I asked if he could help me find whoever was in flooring. I was told he would find Tony, and would have him come to the desk. After another 10-15 minutes waiting, still no Tony. I eventually made my way to the front desk, where Tony was called for again. In short, after telling Tony I wanted to send the quote to another store, I was told it would be too difficult to do, and I should just order through him. Not once did he ask how the issues could have been corrected, nor an apology offered, nor any help in general other than Tony wanting to make a sale. In short, the store in general is great, but stay away from flooring. They want to make a quick sale with as little input or effort on their end. In might be a little further away, but Home Depot Olive Branch has flooring associates that are customer service aware, and won't bs you into a sale.

Do not purchase carpet here. The service in store was great, but once they get the money, it's passed to a subcontractor and horrible customer service and installation. Even have contacted store twice with no response. ** 11/7/17 As an update, they have rectified the situation.

I have visited this store for years, and the only reason I continue to shop here is because they are the only Home Depot near me. They provide zero customer service, do not provide skilled coverage for all departments during all store hours and lack in skilled help. First of all, I cannot express how many times I have walked the entire store multiple times because store associates have given me bad information on where I can find something. Also, you make a trip to the store for a potential large install purchase, only to find out the "specialist" for that department doesn't come in until later in the day! Specifically, I made a trip this morning to talk to someone about purchasing and installing all new interior doors for my home. This would be a good potential sale for Home Depot, but guess what, they will not be getting my business because I was told that although they open at 6am, and I visited at 9:30 am, I was told the only person that could help me (their millwright/door person) would not be in until after 11am!!! Do not waste your time unless you know where to find what you need without assistance!
