Bender's Sewer & Drain

We've used them for years. Tree roots periodically block our sewer line. They use the backflow stop access point to snake the line. It's Sunday and we had a problem, but they couldn't come out, so we called someone else (which is understandable-- this isn't my complaint). While I was standing there, the other company found the backflow access loose (removed easily by hand) and the flap that acts as a backflow preventer on the ground next to the access point-- it wasn't reinstalled! It turned out to be tree roots, so the preventer wouldn't have prevented the backflow. HOWEVER, because the screw-cap access wasn't tightened, it leaked there and soaked carpets! This would NOT have happened if it was properly tightened. Called Bender and politely explained, and they denied any wrong-doing, said "piss on you," then hung up. RUDE, inconsiderate, and will NEVER hire again.
