I had an appointment at 8am. No one showed, called several time. The nice receptionist told me that there was an emergency & some will call me. No one has called & it is the end of the day. And, no is picking up the phone. I also was not called to be informed that there would be a delay in my 8am appointment. Unprofessional. Bad customer service.
I have used Hank's several times in my current home. First for a new water heater, and several times to clear trees roots from the sewer line. All work was perfomed to statisfation and I have only been charged the aggreed (fair) rates qouted. No sticker shock after repairs. Regarding punctuality, I have not had any issues. Submitting this review due to others that I see here that aren't representative of my experience. I intend to call Hank's first in the future.

I called this company on 5/9 and they told me they could not come out until the next day. I said that was fine and I went to work. A few hours later they call me saying they are 5 mins from my house. I was very frustrated as I work 40 mins away. They then said they would come out the next day. The next day (5/10) comes and they spend 2 hours snaking the pipe with no solution. They then tell me they have to run a camera but they won't get it until the next Tuesday. I say fine and I wait. On Tuesday they I called to check in and they tell me it will be Wednesday and that they definitely have me on the schedule for Wednesday. I call Wednesday morning and they tell me they will call me and can't give me a specific time. So I have to take off work the whole day to wait. By mid afternoon I call and ask the status. They then tell me they can't come out because of the weather. There was not a cloud in the sky. I asked to speak to the owner and was told he would call me. No call for two hours. I call back and tell them I will find someone else if I could not speak to someone in charge. They never had the courtesy to call me back and I lost a whole day worth of pay because of their lack of courtesy. Worst experience I've had with a repair company. I called roto-rooter and they had the problem diagnosed in 45 minutes. Could have saved me a week of not using my kitchen by calling them first.
