Our air conditioner failed last evening in the horrible SC heat. We called Smiths’ after hours ans received a call back within 15 minutes with an offer to come that night. Since it was already late, we decided to sweat it out and have the Smith’s service man come in the morning, Raymond arrived by 9 am, assessed and fixed the problem within 30 minutes. He was prompt, courteous and professional and most important, we are once again have a comfortable house.

Couldn’t be more happy with the service we received! Smith’s Heating and Air sent out two technicians to repair both of my AC units. They arrived on time and were very kind and extremely hard workers. Anytime I have called, they have been very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend and will be using them for all my future AC services.

My fiancé and I built a new house almost 2 years ago and got a extended 5 year warranty through Smith's Heating and Air Conditioning on our AC unit. Our AC stopped working last month, so I called Smith's Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. They had someone come out after a few days to check our AC unit. Just to have them come out and check it, it costs $75 (which is not covered under the warranty). They believe there was a small leak in the coil so they charged us $120 (also not covered under the warranty) to put two pounds of coolant into our AC unit, but they were unable to locate the leak. They said they would have to come back to check for the leak, which would cost ANOTHER $75 (not covered in the warranty) for them to come out and locate the possible leak. They also said if they find an issue with the coil, it would cost $950 to replace it, but only $200 would be covered by the warranty. So of that $950, they want us to pay $750 in LABOR. I have not given any company a negative review before, but I would highly recommend against using this company for anything.

Smith's truly went above and beyond! They came out to diagnose a problem with our downstairs unit the same day we called; and were able to come back a day earlier than expected once the part came in. We won’t hesitate to call them in the future should the need arise.

I could not be more pleased with my years of great service from Smith's Heating and Air. I have worked with CJ, Ed, Larry and JD all provide professional and quality service in a timely manor. Any issues that we have had in our home Smith's Heating and Air are the first folks I call for help. I recommend Smith' s to everyone for sure.
