Travis was wonderful! He came out quickly and did a great job! We can't thank him enough.
Contacted Provident Plumbing at the recommendation of a friend; the plumber was out within a day of the call to replace a hot water heater. He installed the new heater and hauled the old one away at a decent price. No problems since.
I'm not sure how good they are because they never showed up. I gave them two business day's notice of an issue (I called Wednesday and said Thursday or Friday work for me). At the end of the first day, at 5, I called them (after hearing nothing), and they said "it will be tomorrow. We'll call when we're 30 minutes away." No worries; stuff happens. Well, you can see where this is going. At the end of the second day, at 4:30, I called them again (after hearing nothing). They said "something came up." Good luck.
