We have an investment property on a slab that had a bad water leak - scary and serious repair. CB Smith Plumbing did an excellent job advising us to consult with a leak detection company first. After the leak detection company reported back, CB Smith then came out promptly to repair the leak. We were back up with running water within 24 hours of first speaking with them. We are very thankful for their speedy, quality and competent service! Highly recommend this company.

I gave two stars because a technician was sent out within a reasonable amount of time and he diagnosed the problem. Before I bought the house someone had already done a repair. They had gone through a place in the garage floor and the patch was showing signs of moisture. The tech said he forgot and left his probe back at the shop. So, I asked what he was going to do. He dug a hole at the side of the house where the line comes in, adjacent to the repair area, and got water. There was actually a crevice under the slab where the water had been coming through. But he was not equipped to do any repair at that time. He had nothing with him to get through the floor. He said they would call asap. I waited over the weekend and did not hear anything Monday. I had to call them. She acted like she didn't even know who I was! I thought they would be prepared to come out and start work! As we talked she didn't really sound like she wanted to get involved with it since I am on a slab. She said she could come out with a sledge hammer and spend all day busting concrete and not find the leak. She wanted me to call American Leak Detection and pay them $500 to find it. Why? Her own tech had found the location. It was in the area of a previous repair. I am on a fixed income and I told her I can not afford to just shell out money like that. So, she said she MIGHT be able to get someone out the next day. Really? The water had been shut off and I was using water in the bathtub to flush the toilet, sponge bathing out of the bathroom sink, and I was washing my hands in the same water over and over in the kitchen sink. I called another company and they got right to it. They "SAWED" through the concrete and located the leak in the area where her tech thought it was, repaired it, filled in the hole and patched the floor. Had I called them Friday perhaps I would not have had to spend the weekend without water.

This is an excellent, family owned plumbing business. They are knowledgeable, honest and very hard working. I will definitely have them back and recommend their company for any plumbing services.

The guy driving the truck is a traffic hazard. Weaving in and out of cars and tailgating people so they would move over, it was scary to watch!
