Joseph's Affordable Plumbing and Heating

I had a great first experience with Joe and his guys a little over a year ago. I had a pipe break in my basement and they came out and took care of it quickly (albeit the guys who worked on it could have come out of a Laurel and Hardy bit). While he has never been very patient or timely they did the work. The last two times I have used Joe's affordable I was really unhappy. He charged me $500 for a heat system treatment. The first time they came out they didn't even do it correctly. They simply bled the system and left a huge mess of rusty water on the floor and in my downstairs bathroom. When I told him they didn't do the treatment I had to reschedule and he said I had to be charged more (even though that was the original job). When I asked him to seal off a few valves that were leaking he said he didn't want to do it and that I should just call him when it got cold out. Most recently, I had a radiator bust on me. Joe insisted he would need to cap it off (charge me for labor) get a new one (makes sense) and charge me for labor again to install it. He said it might cost up to 1400 for the whole job and when I paused to think about it he got angry and stormed out. Called someone else right after he left and they gave me a quote over the phone (half of what Joe wanted to charge), asked for the measurements, and said they would be there before EOD with the radiator in hand and could install it in an hour. Shop around before calling Joe's affordable. Plumbing is hard skilled work, but throwing tantrums can lose you business real quick. Called Joseph's Plumbing for a "S Pipe" replacement. Arrangements were made for the next day for the work to be done. To my surprise, he called me back and had his man come out the very same day I called. His man Greg, who was very friendly, did a quick and professional repair job, at a reasonable cost. I was so impressed that I shared his contact number with my sister, so she could have some work done.

The second time now that we’ve used Joseph’s Affordable Plumbing. Joe came right out and fixed everything perfectly for heating with a same-day call on a Sunday. He even made 2 extra runs to get parts. He is knowledgeable, priced fairly, and reliable. I highly recommend Joe for any and all plumbing and heating jobs.

Ability to get an appointment within a week a plus - other companies were talking 4+ weeks. Not an easy job but installation of new sink faucet and garbage disposal done in a timely and efficient manner. Very pleased with the results.

Quick response (within 1/2hr) and excellent service on a Saturday morning. Replacing a leaking, old, worn out kitchen faucet and installing some badly-needed new shut-off valves. Joe sent Greg to do the work and Greg’s attention to detail was obvious as soon as he got to work!.. We were very happy with this contractor... Having a good plumber to call is a big deal... This guy is now in our contact list.
