I called this place to figure out why a water softener we have is overflowing. I called them on the recommendation of someone who knew they were the ones who installed it initially. I was told that I would be charged an hourly rate of $95.00 starting when they leave the office AS WELL AS a mileage fee of .95/mile. I live 40 miles away from their office. I thought that was pretty greedy, but we needed it done so I agreed. Then I was told that they won't go that far unless they have other jobs in the area to do as well. So paying them over two hundred and fifty dollars just to DRIVE isn't enough to get them out here?! I was then assured that they have jobs in my area very frequently and I would probably get a call in just a few days. That was in Jan. Now it's the middle of May. Never heard from them.
For a local plumbing/heating company located in a small town (620 pop) these people ROCK. I went on a trip to Mexico and came home in the middle of a February blizzard. My furnace had stopped working. Jamieson and Marshall came out immediately, ordered the new furnace, .drove to Portland (170 miles one way) to get it, and had the old one removed, new high efficiency one installed, within 3 days. My well quit. Jamieson and Marshall were out the same day to run the fault. Discovered the pump had quit, and were out the next day to replace it. Awesome. Then my septic commenced to overflowing. I had just had it pumped 6 months prior so I figured the issue was down stream (drain field). I dug it up and discovered the cast iron pipe exiting the tank was completely corroded and gone, sealing the tank shut. At this point it is beyond me so I call Jamison and Marshall. Donald Jamieson came out personally, looked it over, ordered the necessary parts, and had it totally fixed the next day. I couldn't be happier.
GREAT COMPANY- We had a well jack pump go out on Sunday. I called on Monday morning about 8:00 and they were on site and working by 10:00. Incredible response and customer service. I would HIGHLY recommend this company.
