I needed a gas hot water heater serviced. They sent 2 inexperienced boys that fumbled around for an hour, decided it was the gas valve that needed to be replaced and liaised with Whirlpool service. I paid shipping for the warranty part. I got the gas valve, they came back out to install it and the water heater still would not light. They took the oriface out and reamed the hole with a nail. They put it back together, but the gas valve would not light the gas. They lit it with a match declaring the new gas valve didn’t work. They managed to get it lit after another 2 hours of “repair” and gave me a bill for $300. I paid the bill but should have waited because within minutes of leaving the heater went out and reported an error. I called the owner an he said the new gas valve was faulty. I called Whirlpool and using their technician determined they’d destroyed the oriface which no longer worked properly causing the overheating of the gas valve. I then paid to ship a thermopyle. I had a different plumber come install that but the gas valve was not longer working properly, so once again I called Whirlpool and they sent me a new gas valve. I got the new gas valve, had it installed and the water heater was fixed. I do not recommend Service Plumbing to fix a hot water heater. They caused more damage than good, I paid a hefty price for it and still had to have additional work before someone else actually properly fixed it.

If I could give zero stars I most definitely would. Called last night and was told nobody could come out so I went to the store and got draino, bleach, baking soda and vinegar and let it set. Got up this morning and was just about to check it when their guy showed up UNANNOUNCED or anything. So we let him in told him we thought it would flush but if he wanted to just make sure real quick so we turned turned the water back on, he flushes the toilet and it's fine. He then walks out and says a 100 service fee. For JUST FLUSHING my toilet?! Which we knew we'd still have to pay 50 wouldve been completely fine but a 100 dollars ? After we asked several times for a estimate and they said they don't do estimates. They failed to inform us its a hundred dollars just for coming to your house and had we known that we would've went else where to begin with. They were rude and had horrible customer service. Would never recommend anybody to this place !!

These guys are great! They cleaned up after themselves,and they definitely let me know what was going on. Any plumbing problems I will call service plumbing. Very professional. Thank you.

Hire them in a minute . Transparent about work that was needed and explained the how and the why !
