Josh arrived promptly. He was pleasant and courteous. He explained our options and was able to solve the drain problem smoothly and completely, leaving no mess.. We had 2 men from Roto-Rooter out to my Mom's house to fix an ongoing problem with her bathtub. The two gentlemen arrived on time, were efficient and knowledgeable about fixing the problem, and she finally has a bathtub in working order! Even more than the technical expertise they showed, I felt so comfortable knowing that my elderly mother was being taken care of by such kind and caring people. We had a toilet slowly plugging up. We schedule online for an evening appointment. We got a notification call around 5 that Caleb (1401) would be arriving in 35 min. 35 minutes later Caleb arrived. He was clean, well groomed, friendly and conscientious about not tracking dirt into the house. He ascertained that the sewer lines were plugged with tree roots, gave us an estimate and cleaned out the lines within the hour. Not only did he do a great job and left no mess, but he was good enough to make sure nothing happened to the cats ambling around. We will definitely call them for the next plumbing job! The service technician who came to my house ( Name : Matthew. Tech Code : 4439 ) worked very hard to install my new toilet. Even when the job became more difficult and he had to do extra work, he kept at it and finished the job satisfactorily. The toilet works perfectly, and the total cost was within my budget. I would recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone who needs plumbing work done for a reasonable price.

The actual plumbing work seems to be fine, but the plumber needed to cut a large hole (he cut about 29") in a bedroom wall made of lathe and plaster. The quote did not include patching the hole, so I asked him at least 3 times to cut a square hole that would allow a drywall patch. He said he was a "drywall guy" in a previous life and would take care of me, but he did not cut the hole square and also did not cut the hole 32" wide so that it ran across two studs. That meant, I had to reshape and enlarge the hole with my own saw, which did not have the vacuum and filter bag. Plaster dust got everywhere, which understandably upset the renter. Just not very cool at all to ignore a plain, simple request that would have taken no longer to cut with his saw and left me with holding a a very dusty bag, so to speak.
