Problem: I had a contract to sell my house and My Realtor Diane Raynolds from Howard Hanna recommended Alfarnam furnace to do repair some plumbing pipes that had been vandalized at my property, they gave me a estimate of $860.40 and they mentioned the pipes that they were going to take care of and they did tell me any additional leaks would be extra to fix 7 hours to do the work and a several fittings and shark bites which I thought were way over priced but I had to get it done to sell the house. On the day for the work to be done their workers showed up around. 9 am by 12 they were done except for changing 2 bolts on a toilet to stop from leaking and they did find a leak at the shower but they were done with that and they explained to me that the quote they gave me would stay the same as they didn’t take long to fix the leak they went to lunch and came back and 30 minutes later they were out of there. 2 days later I get the email with the same quote on it 860.40 so I thought it’s done! The price stay the same and I thought to myself maybe that’s why they went a little high for things like the extra leak and stuff.if it would of ended there I would be giving them a good review. Closing day came and I got the good fait estimate from title co.Thats when I found that they had increased the bill by over 50% to 1345.28 i was shocked at no time was I contacted to tell me the additional work is going to be 484.88 more I called, I sent email to explain to me how a extra shark bite which retails fo 21.50 and a set of toilet screws that sell for less than 3.00 came to 289.88 and how did fixing those 2 things took them a extra 3 hours to the work. I was there I know it took the no longer than 30 minutes and it was part of the Previous 7 hours. I buy plumbing parts and do plumbing jobs all the time. YOU ARE RIPPING PEOPLE OFF! Disclaime I did not do business with thin man but I see they are part of Alfarnam co.and they won’t let me do a review there. Be warned about Alfarnam they are ripping people off. In response to your comment you have not explained to me how a extra shut off valve that cost around $21.00 dollars and a set of toilet screws cost less the 3.00 came to 289.88 and as for the driving time did it take you 2-1/2 hours to get there? I don’t mind you making a profit just don’t rip me off or make it all on one customer and honest you are not.

Took longer than expected, and left a mess

The company is way over priced when it comes to any service they offer. Also very hard and rude to deal with.

I called and they were at my house within five minutes of me calling and fixed our air conditioner! Other places I had called wouldn’t be available to come out for five days! Thank you!
