This guy seems friendly enough but makes stupid mistakes. A while back my hot water heater was acting up, he came out to make sure nothing was visibly wrong with it. There wasn’t anything he could find (bear in mind some days there was zero hot water, so something was clearly wrong) so I said thank you and he went in his way. However after he left, there was no hot water. My boyfriend came home and checked the breakers. He never turned it back on. Something simple and stupid, maybe I should have checked but that wasn’t my job. Also he was rude when I told him one gentleman had already come and check the hot water heater (an electrician, and a damn good one) and found nothing wrong electrically. “Well he’s not a plumber”, he said, which just rubbed me the wrong way. Especially because all Don checked was the electrical components. Fast forward to today, we get a new hot water heater. Again he’s friendly enough, and got the job done around 10AM. Tells me in about an hour we should have hot water. Nothing. I call him, my land lords call him, my boyfriend calls him. And he never calls anybody back. You don’t do that to customers. Especially with what he charges for his time. Luckily, again he just forgot to turn the damn thing on. There was a switch hidden behind a panel I couldn’t see, but my boyfriend found it. Hopefully we’ll have hot water soon. I hate this plumber. Won’t use him again for sure.
