READ THIS BEFORE YOU CALL HIM!!! First...If I could have given ZERO stars, I would. I had a leak on a t-joint on some copper tubing above my hot water heater. So I called this guy Sunday afternoon. I wanted the problem fixed urgently, and would've paid for an emergency call, which was not the issue. So he tells me he will be in Monday afternoon to check it out and let me know what needs to be done. Great! Monday afternoon, he calls me to tell me, "yeah, there's a leak on the copper t-joint near your hot water heater..." REALLY??? But that's not the punch line...he told me he'd be back TOMORROW-TUESDAY because he needs to buy materials to do the job!!! What kind of plumber does not have copper pipe??? It's like a baseball player playing without a bat...like a secretary not having a pen...like a chef not having a knife!!! Don't use this guy!!! He's a quack!!!

Update to my review below: I had Roy come back and give an estimate since it had been a year and olded boiler is in need of replacement. He quoted me a price and all that would be included as far as parts. A fair price. Not cheap but fair for what he promised. We scheduled a date and his crew showed up at 8:30 AM as promised (note he told me when I scheduled it is an all day job not a quick job) and they started working right away. Roy stopped by several times during ghe day to make sure no issues or problems!! After the install was completed They made sure all zones were working and heat coming up I can only say the work was excellent and well done! Area was all cleaned after. Professional, quality work! See the included pics to see install. That is quality work! Let me start out by saying, I do reviews on most places I do business with. I try to be fair, honest and give facts, not rants! I called Accurate Utilities, Inc. to schedule a boiler cleaning call. He advised me of an online cleaning special of $89.00 which included the needed parts for a standard Oil Burner tune up and the vacuuming of the boiler and flue pipe, which is a very fair price! We set the appointment for the following week. He called 3 days before and stated he would need to cancel the appointment since one of the guys would be out but offered to reschedule for another date. We set for the following week. between 8 and 12 noon. I called at 8:00 AM on the day of the appointment which Roy suggested to give me a better window of arrival time. He told me about 45 minutes to be there. They arrived 35 minutes later! They started to do a tune up and found a cracked plate which can not seal the boiler properly and a cracked boiler fire box lining. He gave me an estimate for repairs or replacement of the boiler. Also there was a major build up of ash in my chimney bottom which he quoted an additional $20 to remove. They showed me the spot and they were correct a major build up! Note to readers the Boiler is 35-37 plus years old! I agreed it is time to replace and not waste on repairs of an oil boiler that gave many years of reliable service. He gave me a quote of doing the complete job. It was a fair price and he explained all that would be replaced, also noted that they are his employees to replace the boiler which so many companies use sub-contractors to do the work and not all are good or do good work! A few notes: The Old Guy is Roy. Would you like someone calling you that when you are "AN OLD GUY" or your Father and or Grandfather? Have some respect people!! Roy was to the point and not a salesman talking to sell. Giving facts! Roy and his worker did a excellent job of doing the tuneup and left the area as clean at arrival if not cleaner! Would I refer or have Roy and his team back? Yes to both! Matter of fact he can expect to have 3-4 new customers after today since I told my family and friends at our Thanksgiving Day Dinner last night and they all asked for and received his contact info to use him next year or sooner if in need of repairs. I highly recommend Accurate Utilities from my experience with them. I believe if you are respectful and nice the same is returned most of the time. Karma is a funny mistress! I used this company a few years ago and found the old guy to be shady and said things were needed when they werent.Stay clear I found a much more honest and reliable service company.You only have to be ripped off once them word gets around and your company goes down.

Called for a tune and vac, $99. Old service guy said I needed a transformer and this and that, $500. I told him, I just want a Tune and Vac. He said he won't work on my boiler because it would admit carbon unless I paid the $500 and did the repair. Told him to leave, CROOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WASTED MY TIME!!!!!

These guy came and looked the heating system for just 5 minutes and charged service fee $107. won't call them again!
