Warner came to service a leak near my furnace. Fixed and explained the issue to my satisfaction. Laura in the office set everything up and kept me well informed of when the tech would arrive and helped explain billing. NH Ross has now been to my home for 3 jobs and each time has provided very good service. Will continue to use for future needs.

The service that was required: I was replacing a valve with duel outputs. It’s a valve under the kitchen sink that connects the hot water faucet and the dishwasher. Before asking for service I explained what work I needed to have done. I was told that a service call would be $79.00 and that cost would be taken off of the price of the job. The service man showed, he was very nice and professional and arrived in a timely manner. I told him the problem and he referred to the NH Ross guide, then quoted me $429.00 plus tax. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. With that being said, I called another licensed and insured plumber in front of the service tech. I explained the valve that needs to be replaced and he quoted me $175.00. He knew exactly the valve I was referred to without charging me $79.00 for a service call. I called NH Ross who apologized and explained they guarantee their service and if I wasn’t happy I don’t have to use them. Then they charged me the $79.00 for the service call. Thankfully, I have enough experience to know immediately that NH Ross was inflating their price by more than $200.00 for a value. It’s insane! Please consider going to another plumber before considering NH Ross. I’m sure they do good work but so do several other licensed and insured plumbers. They should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of what should have been a simple fix for their technician. By the way, the cost of the valve part is under $30.00.

Knowledgeable, courteous, and respectful. I’m not always left with this impression. The office staff called me to give me a heads up on timing. And getting the service call the very next day, even though it was a non-emergency, was great. Henry looked at everything, gave me his whole workup on paper, and also some space for reflection on what my priorities would be for the various projects. Would definitely recommend NH Ross to others.
